What happens on the first visit to the Center?

First, a comprehensive eye examination is performed to determine if your eyes are healthy and laser correction is the right technique for your problem, or if other options or referrals need to be explored. Your eyes will be photographed and a computerized map made, called corneal topography. This will assess the shape of your cornea, and is one of the many diagnostic tests the doctor uses to help ensure precise results.

A video explaining and demonstrating the treatment may be viewed at this time. If you are a good candidate for laser correction, the LVC procedure will be performed at the Center during your next appointment.
