LASIK in New York City - Dr. Sandra Belmont

What is laser vision correction?

Laser Vision Correction is an outpatient treatment that uses a cool beam of light to gently reshape the surface of the eye-the cornea-thereby improving vision. It is designed to be a one time treatment to help normalize your vision, while also reducing or eliminating your dependence on glasses and contact lenses.

Laser vision correction is approved by the FDA as a safe, proven and effective procedure for myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism.

The treatment itself is painless. Some patients experience discomfort for one to three days after treatment. We can prescribe medication to alleviate any discomfort during your recovery.

As a nationally and internationally recognized laser eye surgery expert, Dr. Belmont has played an instrumental role in the development of many laser technologies. Her expertise allows her to confidently use many state-of-the-art instruments and techniques when performing LASIK in NYC. When combined with Dr. Belmont's extensive experience and outstanding surgical skill, these advanced surgical instruments consistently deliver highly rewarding vision correction results.
